INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy sessions offer a validating, non-judgmental, and structured environment to work on your personal goals and improve the quality of your life.
SKILLS TRAINING
DBT skills training teaches concrete and practical strategies to achieve a variety of goals. Skills training is traditionally provided in a group format and focuses on 4 modules:
Mindfulness
Distress Tolerance
Emotion Regulation
Interpersonal Effectiveness
Please know there are times when individualized skill training may be used to meet your needs.
PHONE COACHING
Phone coaching is provided to all DBT clients in order to help implement skills in the moment, as distress occurs.
This includes work, school, and/or home.
The goal is to identify and implement skills as you are experiencing the need for them.
CONSULTATION TEAM
Consultation team is a process designed to enhance the skill of the provider.
Through consultation team, clinicians can improve knowledge and adherence to the treatment model.
PARENT SERVICES
Consultation to the environment is another important part of DBT that mainly involves parent coaching as well as collaboration with schools, camps, and other providers, as needed.
Parent coaching provides guidance and direction on how parents can use DBT skills to effectively manage their own emotions and address the emotions and behaviors of their children.
DBT PE
DBT Prolonged Exposure Therapy is an evidenced based gold standard trauma treatment designed to treat PTSD among suicidal, self-injuring, and multi-diagnostic adolescents and adults receiving Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This highly effective therapy utilizes in vivo and imaginal exposure in combination with processing as the core treatment strategies.
