Sophia Miller, LMSW
Sophia (she/her/hers) is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Social Work program in Advanced Clinical Practice. While there, she earned a specialization in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and was part of the Columbia DBT Training Program, where she received intensive training in DBT with suicidal and emotionally dysregulated adolescents and adults. Sophia graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish. After graduating, she worked as the intake and research coordinator for a nonprofit. There, she connected families to evidence-based trauma therapy and conducted research on implementing and disseminating therapeutic interventions for childhood trauma nationwide. Sophia is licensed and able to provide services in Maryland, Virginia, and New York.
Sophia is originally from Seattle, Washington. In her free time, she enjoys reading, testing new recipes for friends and family, and spending time outdoors.
